The Fossil Dungeon is dedicated to representing music that inspires moods and emotions which serve to cultivate a transcendental experience for the listener, be it excitement, melancholy, romance, historic nostalgia, etc. We perceive music as a gateway to the world of awareness and delight in showcasing sounds that purvey the dichotomy of both the sacred and the profane.

Since its inception in 2001, The Fossil Dungeon has specialized in creating collectible releases bearing distinctive and award-winning packaging and design. Our vinyl records are pressed on the highest quality heavy weight wax for clarity and durability and our CDs are packaged in contemporary formats with a flair for quality printing. Many Fossil Dungeon releases remain cherished works of art for fans across the world. In 2007, The Fossil Dungeon began publishing select releases exclusively in digital format, adding to their developing catalog of releases.

The Fossil Dungeon represents a direct channel through which fans may support the artists they enjoy. A significant portion of sales go directly to our musicians. The Fossil Dungeon was established in 2001 and is owned and operated by Michael Riddick, and is supported with the assistance of his twin brother, Mark (both members of The Soil Bleeds Black) and his wife, Elizabeth.
